METAMORPHOSIS

As developed by Robert St.John (1914 – 1996).

Robert St.John originated and developed this revolutionary approach to creative living, enabling one to live creatively by attuning to one's Consciousness or inner guiding principle thus creating balance and harmony at all levels. For those who have the desire to change at a fundamental level Metamorphosis is a very effective means of doing so.

Metamorphosis is not a medical or a scientific approach to health and well being. It is an understanding of the way in which we are influenced in our inheritance of the past and the way in which this influence forms certain attitudes of mind at conception which create an inhibition in our approach to life, modifying our development, both mentally and physically. It is the introduction of this inhibitory influence before conception which governs the outcome of our mental and physical well being. Using the spinal reflexes of the feet, hands and head, as well as the more abstract hand symbols, Metamorphosis is a method which brings these "attitudes of mind" into the unconscious focus of the patient and enables them to be their 'own healer' and to revert to the normal pattern of human inheritance.

Metamorphosis is a means of re-educating the unconscious mind and of eliminating deeply seated influences of genetic, karmic, and other sources.

Based on the ancient system of reflexes we use those of the feet, hands and head as well as the more abstract hand symbols to gain access to the patterns formed by the prenatal conditioning.

The illnesses of mind and body stem from the primary attitudes of mind created at conception and developed at gestation.

Metamorphosis enables the student to contact these primary conditioning factors and to effect changes which finally eliminate the abnormalities.

Where there is life there is an inner source of healing and change to the optimum state of being. Metamorphosis brings the student's motive for the change of their troubles into the light of this inner source, and it is the light of life itself that produces change.

There is no limit to age or to the severity of the trouble, it is the student who effects the change and it is this inner change which alters the attitude of mind which causes the illness of mind and body. It is the primary conditioning effecting the circumstances at conception that creates these states and Metamorphosis enables them to “change their mind” at this very primary source.

In the case of very small children and babies Metamorphosis can be applied by the parents of the child who act as a catalyst, yet it is the child’s own inner principle of life which effects the change.

Metamorphosis is open to everyone who wants to make a fundamental change in their way of living. We can be healthy, but to do so we need to change our primary attitude of mind towards life, which was formed at conception.

This can be taught to anyone who has the desire to effect a real and permanent change in their behaviour patterns.
